Theme 1: Breeding and camel milk production

It focuses on both the experiences of national and international development organizations in the progress of dairy camel farming projects and the research results on all components of the management of this farming (livestock building, nutrition, health, dairy potential, milking mechanization and milk storage in the farm).


Theme 2: Camel milk technology

It presents the results of research in relation to the technologies of camel milk storage and transformation especially how to overcome the processing difficulties of this product. This theme will consider all research about the improvement of camel milk processing yield (cheese, fermented milk, yoghurt...) as well as the effect of transformation processes on the nutritional, sensory and therapeutic quality of dairy products.

Theme 3: Camel milk value chain

It focuses on the research results and development work at the national and international levels, carried out or in progress which aimed to study the camel milk value chain: management, organization, governance, promotion, development and innovation. Proposals can be interested to the whole camel value chain or to a single link in this chain (production, collection, processing and packaging, promotion, marketing and distribution).
